1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern use of the VentureOUT website and the submission of applications through it. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
VentureOUT is an initiative of Single Step Foundation, which operates the website.
Registered office: 12 Bratya Miladinovi Street, Sofia 1000, Bulgaria
Unified Identification Code: 177112828
Email: connect@ventureout.lgbt
2. Website purpose
VentureOUT is a social-entrepreneurship incubator for leaders of LGBTI+ civil-society organisations (CSOs) and social enterprises in Europe. The website provides information about VentureOUT, allows eligible leaders to apply to the incubator and to register for information sessions, and explains how mentors, funders and partners can contact us.
The website, application form and information sessions are intended for adults acting in a professional or organisational capacity and are not directed at children.
3. Applications to the incubator
Submitting this form is an application to the February 2027 VentureOUT incubator. A previous expression of interest is not an application. Applying does not guarantee admission, a scholarship or seed funding.
When you apply:
- applications must be submitted through the application form by the published deadline, after which the form closes; for questions or an accessible way to apply, contact us before the deadline;
- you must apply as the leader who will personally take part in the interview, programme and mentoring, with your organisation’s backing and the authority to take this work forward;
- there is one place per organisation;
- you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will tell us promptly about any relevant change; and
- applications are assessed by people against the published eligibility and selection criteria.
If information in an application is materially inaccurate, or eligibility requirements are not met, we may decline the application or withdraw an offer of a place. If you accept a place and later cannot take part, please tell us promptly so that we can discuss the situation and, where necessary, offer the place to another applicant.
Programme details published on the website, including dates, format and online hours, may be updated; we will inform applicants and participants of material changes. Scholarships and Demo Day seed funding are subject to the conditions we communicate to selected participants, and separate participation terms may apply.
4. Earlier expressions of interest
The expression-of-interest form previously available on the website is closed. An expression of interest was not an application to the VentureOUT incubator, did not create a contract or obligation to apply, did not reserve a place and did not guarantee eligibility, selection, participation, funding, mentoring or any other benefit. Expression-of-interest records are kept separately and have not been converted into applications.
5. Information you submit
Information you provide must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. If you provide information for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to identify that organisation and describe your relationship with it.
Do not submit confidential business information, personal data about other people, legal documents, financial records or other material that has not been requested. Apart from the questions that ask for it, including the optional self-identification section of the application form, please do not include sensitive personal information.
You retain ownership of the information and materials you submit. You give Single Step Foundation permission to use them only as reasonably necessary to assess your application, respond to your enquiry, operate VentureOUT and comply with law, in accordance with the Privacy Notice.
6. VentureOUT communications
If you gave consent through the earlier expression-of-interest form, Single Step Foundation may send you VentureOUT announcements, opportunities and relevant follow-up until you unsubscribe. Applying to the incubator does not subscribe you to these emails, although we will contact you about your application. You may unsubscribe at any time. Details are provided in the Privacy Notice.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the website unlawfully or fraudulently;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
- submit more than one application for the same organisation, or an application on behalf of someone else;
- attempt to obtain unauthorised access to the website, forms or related systems;
- introduce malware or interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- use automated tools to overload, scrape or disrupt the website or submit forms; or
- use website content in a misleading way or in a manner that infringes another person’s rights.
We may restrict access or disregard submissions where reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users, applicants or Single Step Foundation.
8. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website, the VentureOUT name, logo, design, text and original materials are owned by or licensed to Single Step Foundation and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view, download or print website content for lawful internal, informational and non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit substantial website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

9. External links
The website may link to websites or services operated by other organisations, such as the registration page for our online information sessions. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
10. Information and professional advice
Website content is general information about VentureOUT. It is not legal, financial, tax, investment or other professional advice. You should obtain appropriate professional advice before making decisions for your organisation.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or complete. We may correct, update, suspend or withdraw content or functionality where reasonably necessary. If a technical problem prevents you from applying before the deadline, contact connect@ventureout.lgbt as soon as possible.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Single Step Foundation is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on general website information, inability to access the website, or third-party websites.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct or other liability protected by mandatory law.
13. Privacy and cookies
Our processing of personal data is explained in the Privacy Notice; information specific to applications is in the Application Privacy Notice. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the Cookie Notice.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website or VentureOUT changes. The current version and update date will remain available on this page. Changes do not apply retroactively unless required by law.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Disputes are subject to the competent Bulgarian courts, without affecting any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply under EU or national law.
